MEET DR. SELLERS

Dr. Sellers focuses on the cause of low back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and a myriad of other problems for which his patients seek his care. He is methodical and meticulous in his examination and diagnosis. His attention to detail and his attentiveness to his patients’ concerns and desires allow him to quickly identify the underlying cause of their conditions and formulate a practical and effective pathway to health and wellness.

Dr. Sellers integrates modern chiropractic adjusting techniques, physiotherapy modalities, massage therapy, exercise and nutrition to help his patients achieve optimum health.

Dr. Sellers is also skilled in and has had considerable success treating post-surgical patients who wish to avoid future spinal surgeries. His methods and techniques in treating these special needs patients are different than those he administers those who have had no previous spinal surgery. They are gentle and very well tolerated by his patients. One of Mandeville’s best chiropractors, Dr. Sellers is the obvious choice for patients who live on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain and are seeking an alternative to surgery.

Dr. Sellers was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. He first became interested in healthcare while his mother was teaching nursing at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in the 1980s. He studied biology and chemistry there, and completed his studies with a 3.877 cumulative average. During that time he also completed Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky for the Louisiana Army National Guard.

He attended Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. In 1990 he was chosen to participate in a three month Neurosurgical Rotation Program through the University of Texas Health Science Center, Herman Hospital in Houston, Texas. In this program he worked closely with Dr. Floyd Haar during the initial work-up, diagnosis, therapy and surgical intervention for numerous and varied neurosurgical conditions. Dr. Sellers graduated Summa Cum Laude as the Valedictorian of his class in August 1991. After graduating he participated in the Chiropractic Physicians Candidate Training Program, in Bradenton, Florida, under Dr. Sandra Lavigne.

Dr. Sellers began practicing in Mandeville in 1992. Today his practice is located on Saint Ann Drive, down the street from the Post Office.
